The company behind restaurant franchises California Pizza Kitchen, PF Chang’s and IHOP has successfully brought American brand Applebee’s to the Philippines. It opened last September and replaced the space that was occupied before by Mad for Garlic. Their all-time favorites will surely make you drool, such as Sriracha Shrimp, Boneless Chicken Bites and Cowboy Burger.
Applebee’s is located along 9th Avenue corner 30th Street.
Gino's Brick Oven Pizza
Another pizza place has yet again opened in BGC – Gino’s Brick Oven Pizza. They have a wide variety of pizzas that they prepare from scratch, such as SMEGG, Buffalo Chicken and Four Cheese. One side dish though that seems to have gained popularity right away is their Burrata, which is basically cream and kesong puti wrapped in mozzarella skin.

Ogawa Traditional Japanese Restaurant
Ogawa Traditional Japanese Restaurant recently added to the diverse food offerings in The Fort Strip. Opened just last October 8, Ogawa’s pledge is to serve high-quality traditional Japanese dishes. Among them are teppanyaki, maki, sashimi, tempura and many more. They also have more than 20 set meals (bento) in their menu.

Churreria La Lola
Churros fans unite! Churreria La Lola’s famous churros can now be enjoyed in another new branch in Serendra. Aside from their fried pastries, they also offer sandwiches, coffee and horchata (a traditional Spanish drink made from a plant called tiger nuts).
Churreria La Lola is located on the Ground Floor of Serendra Piazza.
Max's Group Inc. at Burgos Circle
In Burgos Circle, there opened not just one, two nor three, but five new restaurant chains under one roof — Pancake House, Teriyaki Boy, Yellow Cab, Jamba Juice and Krispy Kreme. Max’s Group Inc., the company behind the brands mentioned, calls it its very first “community center” concept.
The multi-brand community center can be found in Burgos Circle, near The Mind Museum.
Have you ever found yourself craving for pares while you’re in The Fort? Head on to Jonas in The Fort Strip to give in to your cravings. Jonas claims to have popularized and mastered the art of cooking pares, which means a set meal of beef stew and rice. Aside from serving rice meals, they also have noodles, salads and pastries.
Jonas is located in The Fort Strip, just below Trio.
Filipinos can’t seem to get enough of sweets, and Taiwanese entrepreneurs behind Honey Creme have certainly heard the clamor. Amis Luxury Group is the company behind the young but promising brand of organic soft-serve ice cream. Honey Creme boasts its indulgent but not too sweet desert, with a wide selection of toppings such as honeycomb, organic cotton candy, caramel popcorn and organic mixed grains.
Make sure you have a stock of patience when lining up because Honey Creme’s branch in Level 4 SM Aura is often packed.
A new Japanese concept store just opened to cater to BGC workers who are just too busy to line up behind long queues. Go Bento’s grab and go concept features Japanese food cooked fresh every day. They serve a wide variety of starters, rice meals and add-ons to complete your own bento creation, which you can enjoy in-store or to-go.
Go Bento is located at 9th Avenue, across Nike Park.
Adding to the long list of restaurants in Bonifacio Stopover Pavilion is Yumchee, a Chinese restaurant located on the ground floor. They offer relatively cheaper dishes, which will surely appeal to BGC workers. The menu includes set meals, congee, dimsum and noodle soup.
Yumchee in Bonifacio Stopover is spacious and has many tables and chairs to accommodate customers.
XO 46 Heritage Bistro (Aura)
No matter how many different foreign cuisines are out there, Filipinos will still go back to the food that they grew up with. XO 46 Heritage Bistro serves just that – well-loved traditional Filipino food. Among the dishes that they serve are kare-kare, okoy, Bicol express and many more.
XO 46 Heritage Bistro can be found at the third floor of SM Aura Premier.
The Milkcow craze has arrived in BGC! The famous Korean brand that gained a steady group of followers has finally graced Forbestown Road. Milkcow takes pride in its handmade organic ice cream, which can be enjoyed in itself or with a variety of toppings such as honeycomb, macarons and pistachio.
Milkcow is located on the Ground Floor of 8 Forbestown Center.
Revel Room at The Palace
The Palace recently welcomed a new member to its roster of high-class clubs and lounges. Revel Room, which opened October 2015, is situated beside The Brewery, and like the others has direct access to The Pool Club. Along with the other tenants of The Palace, which are Valkyrie, The Pool Club, The Brewery and Cafe Naya, Revel Room will surely be another reason for party goers to flock to Uptown Bonifacio any day of the week.
