Life begins at 40 but life's beauty can be seen at 60.

Fort Bonifacio is not only the hippest and most happening city in the Metro but also a wonderful place for retirement. It has unparalleled amenities such as wheel-friendly parks and sidewalks, pro-health restaurants, accessible health clinics, and community organizations that organize events that are inclusive such as this Active Seniors' Day.

This event, organized by TheFortCity.com and in partnership with E.Q.U.I.P. @ BGC and WhatsUpBGC.com, is a half-day event full of activities for seniors living in Fort Bonifacio.

Here are a few of the activities you can look forward to:

1. Taiji / Tai Chi

2. Yoga

3. Ballroom dancing

4. Presentation by residents

Experienced and qualified instructors will give instructions and demonstrations, followed by a short practice session for each segment.

Our yoga instructor, Ms. Anna Unson-Price, is a certified SCW-EDU yoga trainer. She is also a three-time Philippine National Women’s Bodybuilding Champion. She was a columnist for Philstar Lifestyle from 2002 to 2014. She has been teaching yoga since 2000. She is currently a corporate yoga Instructor for PLDT, MGO, and NSOB. 

She will be teaching yoga breath which is anti-aging and de-stressing, posture and poses that will help age-related issues like pain and weakness in the lower back, sciatica, stiff neck, frozen shoulder, etc.

Our tai chi instructor, Ms. Sue Pasustento, is a veteran tai chi practitioner. She will be teaching this traditional gentle exercise that has been  helping millions of people stay physically agile over the years.

Our ballroom dancing instructors, Ms. Ana Nualla and Mr. Sean Aranar, are professional ballroom dancers. They compete regularly in the World Dance Sports Federation. They are members of DanceSport Council of the Philippines, Inc. 

Their specialties are Cha Cha, Rumba, Salsa, and Waltz. They will be demonstrating Swing and Salsa for this event.

Admission is FREE for residents of Fort Bonifacio! For non-residents, we have a P200 admission fee.
