McKinley Hill is a 50-hectare township development owned by Megaworld Corporation. About 30% of land area is used for a low-density residential development called McKinley Village. The rest mostly belongs to either one of two types of development: residential high-rise buildings and office buildings designed for business process outsourcing companies.

The development of McKinley Hill started in the latter part of 1990s. As of today (early 2015), about 80% of the land is developed. According to data posted in Wikipedia in April 2013, McKinley Hill had over 4,713 condominium units in 34 residential condominium buildings, 482 residential lots, and close to 300,000 square meters of office space spread across 17 office buildings. Today, these numbers would be even higher as construction work at McKinley Hill has been going on at a fervent pace in the past 12 months at least.

The Master Plan of McKinley Hill is taking more than 20 years to be fully realized.

Major residential developments

The main residential developments are: McKinley Village, which includes McKinley Garden Villas 1 and 2 (completed); Tuscany Private Estate, a medium-density condominium development (completed); The Venice Luxury Residences, which is comprised of 7 high-rise condominium towers (about 75% complete); The Viceroy Residences, a 4-tower development that is scheduled to complete in 2016; The Florence, a 3-tower condominium development that is scheduled to complete in end 2017; lastly, there is a cluster of condominium developments between the South Road and Florence Way that allow its residents easy access to Bonifacio Global City. These are Morgan Suites (3 towers), and the Stamford Residences (3 towers).

The whole Venice Luxury Residences will comprise of seven towers.

Major Office Developments

The main office buildings are: One World Square, 8/10 Upper McKinley Road, 18/20 Upper McKinley Road, Two World Square, Three World Square; and McKinley Hill Science & Technology Plaza (Science Hub Towers 1, 2, 3, and 4).
Lots adjacent to Blue Leaf used to be reserved for educational institutions, but now they are office buildings that include 8 Park Avenue Buildings A & B, Wells Fargo Manila.

Retail Facilities

The main retail facilities are in Venice Piazza and Tuscany. Most of the establishments are restaurants. In addition, there are small shops and banks at the ground floor of most office buildings. There is one supermarket in McKinley Hill, namely Wellcome Supermarket, which is located at the ground floor of Stamford Residences.

An extension of Venice Piazza is under construction. When completed, it will contain Megaworld's version of Realto Bridge and Venetian Canal.

Transport Facilities

There is one bus that links McKinley Hill to other Megaworld developments in Metro Manila. The Citylink bus plies between Eastwood City in Quezon City and Newport City via C5, with stops at McKinley Hill and NAIA 3. Other means of transport for going to McKinley Hill are just private cars and taxis. Like Bonifacio Global City, jeepneys are not allowed inside McKinley Hill. But there is a jeepney route that starts in Market! Market! jeepney terminal and stops at Lawton Avenue, from which one can walk to various destinations in McKinley Hill. For private cars, there is a multi-storey parking building located behind the office buildings of Two World Square and Three World Square. There are footbridges that link the parking building to Venice Piazza, making it convenient for shoppers and diners to access Venice Piazza. The parking facilities for Tuscany, on the other hand, are not as ideal. The most convenient parking spaces are street parking, but the number of slots is very limited. There are some open parking lots located in various parts of McKinley Hill. At certain hours of the day, these parking lots can be really full.

Taxis are usually abundant in McKinley Hill during weekdays. There are taxi lines outside major office buildings such as the One World Square and Two World Square.

Community Facilities

The square outside Venice Piazza (Piazza Grande) can be used for events, and kids that come with their parents to dine or shop at Venice Piazza can run around there. Other than that, there is not much open space for the public in McKinley Hill. Maybe this will improve when the Venetian Canal behind Venice Piazza is completed (in 2016?); there may be more places for residents and visitors to relax outdoor.

For paying facilities, there is the Blue Leaf Events Pavillion, located at Campus Avenue, for holding events like parties, weddings and conferences. There is also Emperador Stadium, a football pitch made of artificial turf near Campus Avenue where one can watch football (soccer) matches when they are held. Soccer classes for kids are also held there in the summer.

There are two international schools in McKinley Hill, Korean International School and Chinese International School. The latter is actually an international school that uses English as the teaching medium with Chinese as a second language; thus, it is open to kids that can speak little or no Chinese.
