Update : from June 15, restaurants are allowed to offer dine-in service at 30 percent, according to guidelines issued by the Department of Trade and Industry. Many restaurants in BGC are seen to be doing that, but it is not the old way of dining in. Each table only allows up to two persons, and you are not allowed to sit across each other, even though you are from the same household. A health declaration form is supposed to be filled in by patrons. Still, it is a good feeling to be able to eat in a restaurant again.
From June 1, Metro Manila entered into the General Community Quarantine phase. In Taguig City, it means one-way system in malls. Continuation of compulsory wearing of face mask. Temperature check and hand sanitizing at entrance of all buildings.
More shops are allowed to open, including the limited opening of barber shops, but restaurants are still not allowed to serve dine-in guests. Food courts are also not open.
In the first week of June, in Bonifacio Global City, the street looked quiet, even though a little less quiet than under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine.
From the second week, more people are seen in Bonifacio High Street and SM Aura.
Also, we are allowed to go to other parts of Metro Manila to get essential supplies. It means we can now go to places like Venice Grand Canal Mall, first time in three months.
MC Homes, a complex that houses a number of hardware stores, have finally reopened. You will, however, have to log in when you enter, by providing your name and contact information.

Confusion over Outdoor Activities Allowed
The incident involved a mother trying to bring her toddler to play in Burgos Circle Park, but was accosted by several women wearing military clothing.
The incident as reported in the media had two versions, one was that the toddler was not wearing a mask, and the mother did not maintain social distancing with other people. The other was that the mother was told to go home because kids were not allowed to go outside to play, when in fact Taguig City had announced that kids can go out to exercise. In this version, the mother claimed that they were wearing masks and were maintaining social distance. We do not know what really happened in that case, but we personally know of another mother who was yelled at by marshalls at the same location for bringing her kids outside to play at Burgos Circle.
Luckily for parents, Taguig City hall has since issued clarification, confirming that children are now allowed to go out to exercise, as long as they wear masks and maintain social distance. For more information on the guidelines, read this.
